Christian N. Oko, LL.B., B.L., LL.M., is the Founder and Managing Attorney of Lex Cristiano PLLC, and a dual-licensed attorney admitted to practice in the State of New York and as a Barrister and Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Nigeria. He previously served within the New York State Unified Court System as a Legal Fellow of the Franklin H. Williams Judicial Commission in the Fifth Judicial District and is a member of the Access to Justice Committee of the Fifth Judicial District in New York.
Attorney Oko brings a background shaped by judicial fellowship, immigration advocacy, and sports law advisory work. His judicial fellowship experience provides him with a deep understanding of how courts evaluate cases and apply the law—insight that strengthens his approach to advocacy and litigation strategy. He has represented clients in family-based and employment-based immigration petitions, humanitarian relief applications, asylum matters, and defense in removal proceedings. His sports law experience includes prior work with the Nigerian Football Federation, along with advisory services relating to claims before the FIFA Dispute Resolution Chamber and Name, Image, and Likeness (NIL) matters. He is a member of the Onondaga County Bar Association, the New York State Bar Association, the Nigerian American Bar Association, and the Nigerian Bar Association, and serves on Assigned Counsel Panels in Onondaga, Madison, and Cortland Counties for criminal defense matters.
